Trip in Oct

The adventure continues. I will be heading to Haiti for month soon. I started working full time for Haiti in June 1 2010.

Principles

What principles should guide the work in Haiti. Ahimsa, Appreciative Inquiry, Capacity Building, Connection, Sustainability, and Continuous Learning.

Landmark Forum

I attended the Landmark Forum last weekend and I am greatly encouraged. 

Nou Kapab

Nou Kapab,  WE CAN with the help of God do something for Haiti. That God would let me turn this prayer into action. 

Do no harm

As I think over the things I have seen in Haiti, I realize that intention and reality are almost never the same. My first prayer is that whatever I do will cause no harm to the culture and people of Haiti. 

The war within

Changing from a middle class American to a community developer in Haiti is more complicated than it first appears. This change has rocked me to my foundation. But no matter what I do I keep finding myself drawn back. Very glad to hear about Bill Clinton's appointment. Haiti will become better known.
